The Role of pH in Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using Various Plant Extracts Parts: A brief review

and of agricultural waste is strongly affected by pH. These green synthesis
methods cconsidered simple, cost effective, ecofriendly, and biologically
effective. This brief review aimed to survey the role of pH in the green
synthesis of AgNPs using those media, with a focus on its effect on AgNPs
morphology and size. This review article revealed that the alkaline pH (9 -
10) is the optimum condition for synthesizing more stable and tiny uniform
AgNPs. In addition, according to the reviewed articles, the spherical shape is
the most dominant shape of these articles in the basic medium and the size of
these particles decreases at elevated pH values and ranged from 5-40 nm.

Analysis and Design a secure wireless campus network for ABC University in Libya
Journal ArticleThis research presents the wireless university campus network and discusses about the strengths and weaknesses of Design a secure wireless campus networks for ABC University in Libya, and about the costs and advantages of different vendor solutions. Wireless offers mobility and is available in locations where a wired outlet doesn't exist. The disadvantages of wireless include some minor interference problems and a quickly evolving and competitive group of standards. The purpose of the research is designing and implementing a secure campus network for Libyan university based on Cisco equipments. Moreover, the research can provide practical experience in network design, configuration, and security for helping organizations and institutions protect their network resources and data. Two end products or deliverables will result from the research: the first is a new architectural design for an efficient and advanced WLAN-friendly network to ensure the high performance of the data transaction process and ensure high availability of data transmissions. The second product is a report for network administrators or network architecture to guide users towards the achievement of WLAN-friendly by utilising advanced networking tools and technologies.

This study aimed to compare the information system security in two banks in Gharyan city and to numerous challenges that face banks, which can severely affect customer trust and financial stability. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used the analytical descriptive method relying on the questionnaire and interviews as main tools to collect banking data collection for the two banks, which they are Jumhouria Bank of Gharyan, and North Africa bank of Gharyan. This study came up with a series of findings includes theprotectionthe banking information system security is quite safe. As well as recognize the types of risks that may occur in these bankssuch as infecting the system's devices with viruses also internal and external penetration of banks information system and how these risks impact, as result of that, this study recommends a multi-layered approach including utilize automated tools to continuously scan for known vulnerabilities in applications and systems. This helps in early detection of potential they can be exploited. In addition, banks must effectively update programs that protect against viruses and download only reliable antivirus programs moreover banks must continuous training for employees on security information system.

Effect of Applying Nd-YAG Laser on Microstructure and Hardness of AISI 1012 Steel Surface
Journal ArticleThe unique characteristics of the laser beam compared to the normal light i.e. its directionality, monochromatcity, and brightness make it a very important tool in the surface engineering. The concentrated heat in the laser beam can precisely directed toward the processed region on the surface. The laser beam power, size, and scanning velocity are easily controlled during the different processing methods. Laser surface modifications of metallic materials, such as laser surface melting, laser surface alloying, and laser cladding are some of the most important methods to improve the mechanical properties of the processed layer on the surface. A pulsed Nd-YAG laser surface melted specimens of low carbon steel with a maximum power of 90W at different processing parameters. The rapid melt and resolidification of the treated layer produced a refinement in the microstructure. The original microstructure of this steel (Ferrite + Pearlite) has been transformed to new phases of martensitic and bainitic structures. The melted layer consists of the melted pool, the heat affected zone, and the substrate. The maximum hardness of the laser melted layer is more than 400 HV.

Bacterial Etiology and Antibiotic Susceptibility in Isolates from conjunctivitis patients in Tripoli, Libya
Journal ArticleAcute conjunctivitis is described as inflammation of the conjunctiva that lasts less than 3 to 4 weeks, showing cellular infiltration and exudation. Conjunctivitis can cause significant and lasting harm to the eye, resulting in severe inflammation in the corneal lid. This study seeks to isolate and identify the particular bacterial pathogens responsible for conjunctivitis in patients at Tripoli Eye Hospital. Collection of bacterial samples from patients with conjunctivitis was conducted at the ophthalmic consultative clinic within Tripoli Eye Hospital, Libya between September 2021 and January 2022. Tests were done to separate bacterial pathogens causing conjunctivitis and to test their resistance to antibiotics. Among 140 samples, bacterial infection was detected in 86% of cases while 14% yielded negative results. Males had a higher prevalence of bacterial infections at 63% in comparison to females. Both male and female individuals aged 60-79 years had the highest percentage of bacterial conjunctivitis cases at 51%. Segregation tests showed that the majority (82%) were Gram-positive, while a minority (18%) were Gram-negative, with Staphylococcus aureus being the most prevalent bacteria (35%), closely followed by Staphylococcus epidermidis (32%). Streptococcal pneumoniae and Enterobacter spp had rates of 2% which were lower. The majority of organisms showed sensitivity to levofloxacin (43%), while there was only a small amount of resistance to polymyxin B (4%). Professional attention and microbiological research are crucial for verifying clinical diagnoses and carrying out suitable and efficient treatments.

في وقتنا الحالي يتزايد الطلب على الملونات التي قد تكون ضارة عندما تكون ملونات صناعية لتلوين مُختلف الأطعمة ومنها العصائر والمشروبات الغازية المختلفة، لدعم لون المنتجات والتأثير على حواس المستهلك والتي تلعب دوراً حاسماً في تسويق المنتج، من بين الأعداد الكبيرة من المواد المستخدمة في التلوين والأصباغ الاصطناعية المنتشرة في هذه الصناعة. صبغة السودان ردB صبغة حمراء اللون والتي استخدمت في الصناعة وخاصة إنتاج صبغات الشعر والمستحضرات التجميلية، ولا تزل بعض البلدان تستخدمها كمضافات غذائية رغم حظر استخدامها في صناعة المواد الغذائية بسبب تأثيرها المحتمل للسرطان. وتم تصنيفها ضمن الفئة الثالثة للمواد البشرية المسرطنة من قبل الوكالة الدولية لأبحاث السرطان. ومن المهم وصف آثارها الضارة على الصحة والمستهان بها في الوقت الحاضر. توجد طرق عديدة للكشف عن وجود صبغة السودان رد.B وفي هذه الدراسة تم استخدام جهاز التحليل الطيفي للكشف عن وجود صبغة السودان رد B عند طول موجي 525 نانومتر في عينات متنوعة من العصائر والمشروبات الغازية من بلدان مختلفة الصنع والمتوفرة في الأسواق المحلية الليبية.
