Journal ArticleAbstract
Stem cell therapy has emerged as a promising approach for craniofacial bone remodeling and dental tissue regeneration. In this study, a mixed-methods design was employed, combining laboratory analyses with clinical data from 100 participants. Results demonstrated that 80% of respondents had received mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy, with 70% reporting improvements in bone density and 65% noting enhanced dental tissue regeneration. Imaging tests confirmed progress in 85% of cases, while overall satisfaction with therapy outcomes was reported by 80–85% of participants. Correlation analysis revealed strong positive relationships between stem cell treatment and improvements in bone and dental tissues, with coefficients ranging from 0.60 to 0.70 (p < 0.01). Side effects were minimal, with only 20% reporting complications such as swelling or pain. These findings underscore the therapeutic potential of stem cell-based interventions, highlighting both their efficacy and safety. The study concludes that stem cell therapy represents a viable and effective strategy for regenerative dentistry and craniofacial surgery, though larger multicenter trials are needed to standardize protocols and validate long-term outcomes.

Epigenetic Regulation of Inflammatory and Regenerative Responses in Periodontal Supporting Tissues among Patients in Dental Clinics of Alexandria, Egypt: An Experimental Study
Journal ArticleAbstract
Periodontal disease is a multifactorial condition characterized by chronic inflammation and progressive destruction of supporting tissues, with significant implications for oral health and systemic well-being. This study investigated the correlation between inflammatory responses and regenerative outcomes in periodontal supporting tissues, emphasizing the role of epigenetic regulation. A mixed methods approach was employed, combining clinical assessments, patient-reported outcomes, and molecular analyses. Spearman correlation analysis revealed strong associations between clinical indicators of inflammation and perceived regenerative improvements, underscoring the interplay between destructive and reparative processes. Demographic and lifestyle factors, including smoking and systemic health conditions, were found to influence variability in responses. Regenerative therapies demonstrated favorable outcomes in terms of clinical attachment gain, alveolar bone support, and patient satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of integrating epigenetic insights with clinical practice to develop personalized strategies for managing periodontal disease and enhancing tissue regeneration

Obesity and Headache in Libyan Adults: Findings from a Descriptive Cross‑Sectional Study in Gharyan City
Journal ArticleAbstract
Obesity and headache are conditions associated with a substantial personal and societal impact. This study aims to evaluate the association between body mass index (BMI) and Headache among adults in Gharyan City, Libya. This was a descriptive cross-sectional study, conducted at Gharyan city, Libya, during the period from December 2024 to March 2025. Two hundred (200) participants, including 94 males (47%) and 106 females (53%), were enrolled in this study. Data were collected by using a structured questionnaire. The participants were divided into four categories, based on BMI: underweight (<18.5), normal weight (18.5 to 24.9), overweight (25 to 29.9), and obese (>30). A total of 200 participants, both gender males and females, were enrolled in this study during the study period. The study indicates that high percentage of headache in age was 43 -56 years, and severe obesity BMI > 30 kg/m2 were observed of high percentage in females n=27 (25.47%) compared to males n=17 (18.08%), although the severe obesity and headache found in females n=37 (34.90%), rather than males n=30 (31.91%) Obesity and headache are both, slightly more common in females than males, we recommend that more studies among obesity and headache in large patients should be done, although small sample size and lack of long-term flow-up of patients, were the main limitations of our study and results suggested a need for monitoring by X-ray and MRI diagnosis of patients have obesity

Brief Review on Segregation and Treatment of Biomedical Waste in Medical Laboratories in light of WHO and CDC Guidelines
Journal ArticleAbstract
The proper management of biological waste in laboratory settings is a critical aspect of biosafety in microbiological and biomedical laboratories. Beyond protecting lab workers, biological waste management safeguards public health, protects the environment, and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. Segregation, decontamination of liquid waste, decontamination of solid waste, and techniques for inactivating toxins are all main aspects of biological waste management that will be outlined, aligned, and summarized with the main institutional biosafety protocols for biological waste management, published by major authorities, including CDC and WHO. This research found that the information from the two institutions complements each other. Therefore, this brief review aimed to compile and unify information from both institutions to construct a single, coherent text that provides a practical summary for medical laboratory professionals seeking to enhance the implementation of international, harmonized protocols that strengthen biosafety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance

مقال في مجلة علميةABSTRACT
The Arab-Islamic civilization had a great impact on Europe and important factor in its Renaissance. Many non-Muslim Westerners have testified to the greatness of Islamic civilization and its undeniable contributions to the advancement and progress of nations. These testimonies only came after an objective study based on a rigorous scientific methodology of the intellectual heritage of Muslims. The importance of this research lies in clarifying the impact of Islamic philosophy in general, and Ibn Rushd in particular, on European philosophy during the Middle Ages, and demonstrating his significant role in enlightening the history of European thought. This research aims to highlight the role of Islamic thinkers in the advancement of European civilization and to refute Westerners who have been unfair to Islamic thinkers and have attempted to diminish the contributions of Muslim peoples, describing them as less capable than the European race in the fields of science and technology. To achieve these and other objectives, this research employs the descriptive-analytical method and the inductive-historical method. The most important finding of the research is the confirmation that the process of influence only occurs through cultural exchange and interaction. Civilization and culture are important elements, but they are incapable of movement and transmission except through an effective and practical means of transfer. Every civilization has taken from what came before and contributed to what came after. This is because civilization, in its simplest sense, is primarily a human endeavor. Europe could not have achieved its Renaissance without adopting the principles of the Islamic Renaissance in all its aspects .

Linguistic Analysis: Errors Encountered in Speaking of Third Semester EFL Students at the Faculty of Arts, Gharian University
Journal ArticleAbstract
One of the most challenging skills for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners is often the ability to speak, especially in environments where opportunities for authentic English exposure are scarce. This study focuses on prevalent linguistic errors found in the spoken English of third semester EFL students at the Faculty of Arts, Gharian University. . The three primary types of errors that are examined are phonological, grammatical, and lexical. The study also explores the possible reasons behind these errors, such as first-language (L1) interference, limited English exposure, inadequate speaking practice in the classroom, fossilization, and emotional factors. Students often face difficulties with English phonemes that do not exist in Arabic, as well as with the correct grammatical forms, and suitable vocabulary choices, according to the results. The study emphasizes how important it is to implement focused interventions to improve students' spoken accuracy and fluency. It suggests pedagogical recommendations to enhance the accuracy and fluency of students’ spoken English, including increasing the number of opportunities for communicative practice, targeted pronunciation training, and the incorporation of authentic listening resources.

Obstacles to Implementing Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) in Libyan Primary Schools: A Rural Perspective
Journal ArticleDespite the critical demand for advanced English proficiency in Libyan
higher education, primary public schools, particularly in rural areas, have
been neglected. This qualitative study investigates the imperative for
implementing improved methodologies in Teaching English as a Foreign
Language (EFL) in Libyan primary public schools, using the post-conflict
rural municipality of Al Gwaleesh as a case study. Data were collected by
questionnaires and classroom observations from ten teachers and ten third
year pupils. The findings reveal a systemic reliance on traditional Grammar
Translation Methods, a stark deficiency of resources (including basic
teaching aids and ICT), and minimal student engagement. Teachers
demonstrated limited application of Communicative Language Teaching
(CLT) principles, focusing predominantly on rote memorization and written
exercises. Consequently, pupils reported low motivation and a failure to
grasp the language's practical utility. The study concludes that a
fundamental overhaul of EFL pedagogy in Libya is urgently required,
recommending the integration of audio-visual aids, activity-based learning,
and
