On Sunday morning, September 14, 2025, the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Arts in Asabaa held its first meeting in preparation for the new academic year. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, department directors, and heads of academic departments.

Key topics discussed included:

• Course registration dates and procedures related to student ID numbers  

• Academic supervision, follow-up, and monthly reporting  

• The role of the Quality Office and performance monitoring in achieving program accreditation in line with the Quality Center’s requirements  

• The academic schedule and study plan, and methods for aligning the university’s curriculum with ministerial guidelines  

• Additional emerging topics related to performance rates and teaching hours across departments
