Gharyan University Announces a Specialized Scientific Symposium to Develop the Olive Oil Production Sector

As part of its strategy to enhance the role of scientific research and apply its outcomes to serve the industrial sector and community development, Gharyan University has announced its intention to hold a specialized and interactive scientific symposium at the end of October.

This promising initiative marks the first outcome of an agreement with Atlantis Consulting and Training Ltd., which will serve as a strategic partner in such developmental programs.

The decision reflects the university’s recognition of Gharyan’s excellence in olive oil production, known for its high standards and potential as a key economic product in the region. This calls for combined scientific and practical efforts to maximize its economic value and open new avenues for marketing and development.

To ensure the success of this important event, the university has assigned the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in close collaboration with the Faculty of Science, to fully prepare and coordinate the symposium. The joint committee will also work to establish specialized regional partnerships with leading research and industrial institutions, aiming to leverage local and regional expertise and produce actionable recommendations.

This announcement was the focus of a coordination meeting held this Sunday morning at the office of the Dean of the Faculty of Science, attended by:
