On Sunday morning, June 22, 2025, the Faculty of Science in Gharyan welcomed the audit team assigned by the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions, as part of the institutional accreditation process for the Faculty of Science – Gharyan.

The visiting team was received by:

- Dr. Ali Al-Faqih, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Acting President of Gharyan University  

- Dr. Tarek Al-Dhabi', Head of the Quality Office at the University  

- Dr. Nasser Aburawi, Dean of the Faculty of Science – Gharyan  

- Dr. Intisar Nasr, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Science – Gharyan  

- Heads of academic departments and office directors

In his opening speech, the Acting University President expressed his deep gratitude for the visit, reaffirming full support for the team during the audit process and wishing them success in fulfilling their tasks.

The Dean of the Faculty of Science also conveyed heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the faculty members, staff, and student union for their cooperation and commitment, reflecting a strong team spirit and dedication to advancing the academic and administrative standards of the college.

The Head of the Quality Office commended the efforts made by the Head of the Quality Department and quality coordinators in the scientific departments, praising their diligence and outstanding preparation. He emphasized the faculty's ongoing commitment to development and the university’s dedication to quality standards, noting that all colleges within the university are striving to meet accreditation requirements. He wished the audit team success in their work.

For his part, the Head of the Audit Team, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Ahmed, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and the resources provided, announcing the start of the team’s activities, which will include a comprehensive review of the college’s educational, research, and administrative systems.

The visit also included a presentation by Ms. Samar Al-Arabi introducing the college, its activities, and contributions. The team toured various facilities of the college, inspecting infrastructure and services provided to students and faculty members.

This step comes within Gharyan University’s ongoing efforts to enhance academic quality and ensure institutional excellence, in line with its vision to improve higher education outcomes.
